Support the Port & Pineapple-Shaped Lamps, will provide the city of Wilmington with a great entertaining show, of jokes, music, and poetry with Snaps Claps, and Knee Slaps at Dreams Arts Center (901 Fanning Street) May, 13th, 2017 from 7pm-10pm. The hilarious, “Snaps, Claps, and Knee Slaps” will bring together 3 of the best styles of art and mixing them together in one night. Guest will be able to enjoy and also participate in a live improv performance(i.e.:Wild n Out, Whose Line is it anyway?) with Pineapple-Shaped Lamps. Special poetry and music performances from, Unity The Band, 44 Loco, Volume and more. Chris Robinson, Director of The hit film Aimee’s List, will host the evening. Come out and meet, and mingle with fans of poetry, spoken word, music, and other forms of art. Also enjoy a delicious southern meal from Chef Memphiz Str8 Outta Memphis Food Truck.

About Pineapple - Shaped Lamps:
As Wilmington’s longest-running sketch comedy and theatre troupe, Pineapple-Shaped Lamps has been performing live on stages all over the East Coast since 2010. When shouting at their regular audience isn’t enough, they get inside the box with their YouTube channel and appearances on the CW Network. They also tour and perform at festivals and conventions in Miami, Chicago, Charlotte, and Myrtle Beach. They have been featured at NCCAF for the past three years, and performed at the inaugural year of the New South Comedy Festival in Greenville, SC. The guy who wrote Game of Thrones described them as "pretty good!
