Book Tour

Support The Port Foundation, Inc. has partnered with businesses, and organizations  around the city of Wilmington for the Come Through, it’s Lit! Book Tour featuring “Wilmington in Color” The Coloring Book about Wilmington’s African American History. During the month of Feb., Support the Port will host live book readings, and book signings at select locations around the Port City. During the Come Through it’s Lit - book tour, special guest will read the book live to the attending audience.  Followed by a Q&A with the creator of the book Cedric Harrison.  Support The Port wants to put emphasis on teaching and also bringing together the people of Wilmington during black history month to reflect on the local heritage.  Attendees will be able to have fun coloring in pictures, while also learning the rich African American history of  Wilmington, NC.
